Fly Killers
Fly killers or Zappers have evolved since the original buzzing units first appeared. There are two different types of unit. The first and oldest type is the traditional zapper, commonly found in chips shops etc, which dependant on quality actually dehydrates to offending insect (fly, wasp moth etc) by offering a high voltage charge.

The other type of fly killer is more of a fly trapper, preferred when the zapping sound is not acceptable (restaurants for example), or that "total encapsulation" or the insect is required (fragmentation or "disintegration" occurs with the zapping type).

Both types of fly killer should be serviced and require annual tube replacement.
Fly killers can even be disguised for use in areas where discretion is required.
